We’re raising awareness for mental health! All this week, we’ll rename our flagship Kolsch “988 Kolsch” to raise awareness of the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

We’re a brewery dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and happy to participate in National Suicide Prevention Week, an annual national campaign that aims to educate the public about suicide prevention andaddress the alarming rise in suicide rates. To leverage their platforms and make a collective impact, breweries across the country have joined forces to name a beer, "988," seeking to spark discussions and encourage dialogue around this critical issue. The goal is for people to notice the number on a can or menu and feel compelled to ask questions, sparking meaningful conversations and raising awareness.

The "988" Suicide & Crisis Lifeline offers free and confidential emotional support 24/7 to those in suicidal crisis or emotional distress in the United States. Additionally, the Lifeline provides essential resources to families and friends, empowering them to play an active role in preventing suicide.
